SOLD: 1923 ROLLS ROYCE 20 HP BARKER COUPE CABRIOLET. Chassis 81K4
Originally purchased in 1973 , by this owner, this historic Sassoon owned car has been kept up and running ,with very little modification. Bottom of the driver seat and turn signals are the only modernization of this all original car. This chassis was shared with a formal Saloon body by the Sassoon family in England. Only 2,940 20HP models have been manufactured. The 20HP was indeed considerably smaller than its previous cars and was powered by an all-new six cylinder engine of 3,127cc mated to a three-speed transmission with centrally mounted gear lever. sturdy The coupe cabriolet coachwork by Barker & Co. coachbuilders Ltd is perhaps the most elegant in this style with a particularly slim hood line ensuring a light interior.
