He carried out a complete cosmetic and mechanical restoration about twelve years ago. The drivers seat trim shows slight loss of colour on the left back bolster and the piping is slightly worn. The seat has strong fill, the leather shows very low wear. The passenger seat is in very good, low wear condition- hardly ever used. The carpeting is a modern replacement in original style material, it is in very low wear tear free condition. The fascia crash pad is crack free. The instrument chrome trim is bright. The wood trim on top of the dash has been restored. The steering wheel is in good condition, the horn ring is bright. the rim of the wheel has a couple of cracks at the spoke. The convertible roof is an original factory replacement part in low wear condition. The car is currently fitted with a draft reducing screen, this is not included in the price of the car, it is a $ 350.00 extra if wanted. The trunk area carpet is matching material to the interior in very low wear condition. There is a set of seat belts with the car, they are not installed at the moment. A matching hard top comes with the car. The paint finish is in a modern two-stage material in bright damage free condition. The front bumper and grill chrome appear to be an older restoration. The headlight door trim rings are in very bright damage free condition. The car is fitted with the European one piece head light. Both front fenders and the hood are in very clean corrosion free condition. The inside of the engine compartment is very clean. The insulation pads on the hood and on the firewall have been replaced. The floor pan still remains in good solid condition with a great protective under coat. The rear quarter panels are clean. The floor pan under the trunk is very clean. The trunk lid is in very clean corrosion free condition. The rear bumpers have been restored. The tail light lenses are crack free. The engine has been changed to that from a 280 model. Its got lots of get up and go, it is a great hwy driver. The engine blows no smoke and starts instantly. The automatic transmission works well. The car is fitted with original steel rims with a painted hub cap and a trim ring. The hub caps have minor scratches. The rims are fitted with low wear Michelin Energy tires. DRIVE the car ANYWHERE.
